...is far too much fun!
Absolutely exhausting, but by far the most fun workout i've ever done.
I've had a pretty rubbish couple of days, and I didnt think about any of my worries for the whole hour of Zumba. I just danced and laughed non stop.
Highly recommend!

Tonight after work I went to see my friend Seans band Mavricks at a small venue in Highbury and Islington. They were so good! Daniel Beddingfield put in a guest appearance as he is friends with the DJ in the band, and got on stage to perform with Sean. We all met up after and went for drinks in the pub.
Nice bloke but tells the worst jokes ever!

Belated photo of me and the loved one outside Gaucho
Doesn't look too startling from the outside, but one mighty fine culinary experience once you descend the staircase into the old gold vaults of the bank of england!
There is also a Gaucho at Tower Bridge...book in advance and try and nab yourself a window table. View of the Thames plus amazing food = one perfect dinner date!

OMG
Yesterday I sat next to none other than USHER!
I say stood next to, I was sitting down, and he was standing beside my table.
Stupid me left my phone upstairs in the office so couldn't snap a sly photo of him, however I did observe that he is very small in person!
Seemed like a really nice guy, signing bits and pieces for people (including my colleague who pounced on him with a concert ticket to sign)and posing for a few photographs with some of the staff and their youngsters who they had brought in just to meet him. Exciting lunchbreak to say the least!
Back in the office, and on a slightly less exciting note, I met Teddy Sheringham. Tres handsome! Not quite the same as meeting Usher, but ho hum.
Day off tomorrow, hurrah! My plan of action is: Lay-in, green tea, bagel, TV, dissertation (no fun) and hopefully a Zumba class! Has anyone given Zumba a go?! I hear it's such good fun!

One for your book shelf
Ever read anything by Tony Parsons?
If not, you totally should.
I remember rooting around in my parents enormous stack of books that they had accumulated over the years, and picked up a book called 'Man and Boy' by Tony Parsons. I could not put it down. It's one of those books that packs a huge emotional punch and stays with you for ages after you've finished, and for me that is the sign of a great writer.
I didn't read anything else by Parsons for about a year. One day I decided to pop into my local charity shop to see if they had any good books, and I spotted the distinctive cover of a Parsons book, this one called 'One for my Baby'. Another great read.
On a recent trip to Tesco I spotted that he had a new book out, 'Men From the Boys', and had to purchase it, not realising that it was a sequel to 'Man and Boy'. I've only just started it, but one chapter in and I already know it's going to be another great read.

House Tour
Aloha.
I thought i'd do a little twist on popular 'Room Tour' blog posts and do a little 'House Tour'. Not that my house is remotely exciting but it is home, and I love it. I lived away for four years whilst I was at uni, so coming home and adjusting to living under my parents roof was bizarre and initially difficult as I was so used to my freedom, but my parents have been great and really accomodated for my return :)
I'll start with the bathroom, as after my bedroom, it is the room in my house that I spent the most amount of time in. Not necessarily because im massively vain, but because in the few hours of the day that I am actually at home, i am either getting ready for work in the bathroom or sleeping!
My mum wanted a beachy/seaside/sailor-esque theme to the bathroom, so it is very blue, with a lot of seaside references.
The dressing table - where the magic happens!
Jewellery in the middle boxes, hairbrushes in the jar to the left, makeup brushes, various products and potions in the tray to the right, cotton wool, then another box of products and potions on the left. Above that, necklaces, and above that, perfumes.
Due to the accumulation of my hair styling tools, my parents decided to turn the bathroom a little bit salon-esque, with hooks and a cool twisty hairdryer holder.
See if you can spy my terrapin, Mr T, over on the right! Maybe he's camera shy ;p

Change
I never used to be a fan of change - but now I think I'm ready for it.
There was a time when I never wanted University to end, and then all of a sudden I couldnt wait, and now I'm so glad to be away from it.
Sure the real world is terrifying, and everything is uncertain, but it's so exciting. Working in London never appealed to me, and now I can't get enough, to the point where I feel like I'm ready to move to London and really start living my life.
Money is always an issue, but I cant live at home forever! Love the thought of having my own little flat, or sharing with one of my girlmates. The next few months are going to determine everything, I'm crossing my fingers and toes that it all works out.

Good evening/morning!
Just got home after an absolutely manic day and finally crawled into bed.
I say manic, parts of it were, like arranging a camera crew for a last minute press conference and trying to break into a dressing room to retrieve a guests belongings after the door got jammed - nightmare!
Other parts were more pleasant- eating chocolates with Gary Lineker in the green room had to be the highlight! Some of the guests we have in (who shall remain un named!) are a nightmare but Gary is always an absolute pleasure to work with.
Iv purchased a few bits and bobs lately so some reviews will be coming your way shortly :)

Valentines Day..and a work outfit
Happy belated Valentines :)
Hope you all had a lovely day, however you spent it.
I know Valentines isn't everyones cup of tea, and the older I get the more I realise that it really is a very commercialised occasion, but nevertheless a good excuse to get dolled up and go out for dinner!
My man met me in the lobby at work and presented me with a single red rose, bless him.
We headed off to Gaucho in Bank, and i absolutely wholeheartedly cant praise it enough, and highly recommend it for a special occasion (although not if you are a vegetarian, as it is primarily a steakhouse!)
We were greeted at the door by friendly and welcoming staff who took our coats, and led us to the bar where we had Mojitos and spicey nuts.
Apologies for the dark photos...it was very dimly lit (atmospheric!)
What I did love (and find bizarre at the same time) was that they bring round a board of raw steak and go through with you the different cuts of steak on the menu before ordering. Very often I order steak and know nothing about what i'm ordering, so it was nice to have it explained by someone in the know! They also talk you through what wines would go best with your meal. Granted it is a very expensive restaurant and not somewhere i would frequent regularly, but I really do believe in this case you get what you pay for. The service was impeccable, the atmosphere was romantic, it smelled amazing (scented candles ahoy) and on the way out they gave us strawberries dipped in chocolate! Nom.
I wore...
A little red, rouched Jane Norman number (exactly the same as the black dress from the previous post, but red!)
Now onto something a little more reserved, a work outfit of the day:
Blouse: Primark - £10
Necklace: Accessorize - £10
Ring: Miss Selfridge sale - £2

I knew it was only a matter of time before I caught a cold from somebody..sandwiched between people coughing and sneezing on the tube everyday, it was inevitable really.
Yet despite having a sore throat, cough, and the beginnings of sniffles, I did what every sensible ill person does..and went clubbing.
How happy does my friend Crissy look? haha.
You cant really see the dress very well but i purchased it recently from Jane Norman in both black and red (for Valentines day!) and its a pretty rouched dress with both straps and a halter neck.
After Crissy force fed me one too many sambucca shots, today has been a complete write off and I am bedbound with the same cold symptoms and an additional hangover.
Have spent the day watching Step Up, Master Chef, The Hills and Take Me Out (what a show!) with Molly
Hope you are all having a lovely weekend so far!

Today I visited Bicester Village in Oxfordshire.
It was a funny little place..basically a village made up of discounted designer shops!
Not the best of pictures - plus it had been raining :(
I got a little bit excited when I stumbled across Jimmy Choo...
However once inside I didnt spy any Choos that called out to me, very dissappointing.
Headed into Oxford city centre afterwards to fulfull my craving for affordable high street shops after being teased by all of the designer price tags in Bicester. Ended up purchasing some earrings from Accessorize, a blouse from Primark, and these delicious choccies...
(The caramel ones are the best ;p)

Hello!
Long time no blog! Been crazy busy as of late so I apologise for the lack of blogging activity. For some reason work has been relentless lately so I've barely spent any time at home, and the time I have spent at home has been spent sleeping!
As I am forever harping on about work, I thought I would take some sneaky pictures to show you where I spent the majority of my life...
This is my desk, which looks like a paper bomb has exploded all over it.
It has all of the necessities every office desk needs; pink pig stress ball, pink stapler, pink post it notes, and David Beckham. I do have a picture of my lover Fernando Torres up on the wall to the right but its out of shot. In all fairness my desk is usually far tidier than this!
This is a sneaky shot I took in the gallery, from up behind the graphics desks. This is where the television-making magic happens!
Last night I had not one but two celebrity sightings, my first in weeks. I spotted none other than the wonderful Dermot O'Leary, all suited up ready to go on-air. Bloody love Dermot!! Also spied Mike Skinner from The Streets, who later came in to the pub we were drinking at after work. Pretty good spots after a dry spell of no celeb sightings!
Purchased these beauties the other day...wondering if i can actually justify keeping them. May have to go without lunch for a month in order to fund them but arent they pretty?!
